A domestic energy assessment is the process that generates an EPC – Energy Performance Certificate – for your home.
If you are looking to sell your property, rent it out or understand how best to improve your energy efficiency, you will need an EPC.
If you’d like to get going, or want to know more about our services, please drop us a line:

It is performed by a qualified assessor who visits the property, gathers a wide range of information about how it is built, whether its a house, flat, terraced or detached in some way, how it is insulated, what is used to generate heat and how efficiently it is done.
The assessor will take photographs, measurements and notes on things like how many radiators you have, how they are heated and whether they use thermostats or programmers, whether you have double glazing and, if so, how old it is. They will take a look in your loft, if you have one, and measure the thickness of any insulation. They will look at your boiler type, the thickness of the walls, the sizes of the rooms and so on.
All of this detail will be compiled and analysed using industry standard software which will generate an accurate energy performance rating, and provide basic suggestions on how to improve the rating – adding more loft insulation, for example.
